Police accused well‑known influencer Adam Kajumi and several other people of pimping. According to police, they forced young women to create erotic content, and for some of them the situation resulted in serious psychological problems. Based on the indictment obtained, Deník N describes how, according to police, the group operated and what exactly detectives blamed it for.
Adam Kajumi, one of the most influential Czech influencers, publicly presented himself as an exceptionally talented entrepreneur, flaunted a life of luxury in his videos and enticed young girls to join his business on the OnlyFans network. On this platform, creators offer users their content for a fee.
Kajumi promised the girls money for creating mildly erotic content, and in return for a share of their earnings he then managed their accounts on OnlyFans, Instagram and TikTok.
Questions around his business emerged as early as a year ago – the website PageNotFound described, on the basis of testimonies and documents, exploitation, non‑payment of promised earnings, intimidation with fines and deception of users.
Police have now arrested Kajumi and, together with three other people and one company, charged him with human trafficking; the influencer is in custody.
According to police, the organised group around him had been exploiting the gullibility of young girls for at least the past three years, according to the indictment obtained by Deník N after the document was handed over to the defence lawyers of the accused.
According to police, Kajumi together with the other accused profited from pornographic content, forced young women to create it and prevented them from accessing their own accounts. Communication with users on social networks was then handled for this purpose by a woman hired by the group, while the girls themselves could not influence the content of this communication.
Serious psychological problems
According to detectives’ findings, on the basis of the scheme described above, the influencer and his associates managed to lure up to fifty young women into creating this content. Over two and a half years, the group was supposed to have earned more than Czech Koruna 3.5m (€144 ,000).
According to police, the women themselves received only a fraction of the money earned. Often, they allegedly did not even know how much users were paying for their content. In the meantime, the group managing the women’s accounts was said to have forced them into increasingly explicit content in order to make more money.
Thanks to his influence on social networks, it was primarily Kajumi who was supposed to make contact with the girls, together with another entrepreneur linked to the OnlyFans business, Adam Zachariáš.
The other accused include a woman who, instead of the girls, communicated with clients via social networks, and cameraman Lukáš Vaník, who also performs as a DJ under the name DJ Vanner.
“In the event of a final judgement, the accused natural persons face prison sentences ranging from five to twelve years,” said Jaroslav Ibehej, spokesperson for the National Centre against Organised Crime (NCOZ).
One of the girls whom Kajumi allegedly manipulated into filming and photographing erotic content was, according to police, not even fifteen years old when she met him.
“When the victim was 14 years old, they formed a relationship as a couple. Already during this relationship, Kajumi repeatedly tried to entice her to perform on the OnlyFans platform. At the same time, he discouraged her from attending school, telling her that from the age of 18 she could perform on the platform, where she could earn very high income,” police described in the decision available to Deník N.
The girl had long condemned performing on OnlyFans. “Despite this, Adam Kajumi kept tempting her that she could earn money by selling erotic photographs for a life of luxury, exotic holidays, cars and expensive movable property,” police stated.
However, the girl repeatedly rejected his offers, and Kajumi then ended the relationship with her. Even so, he allegedly continued to pressure her, saying that if she set up her own profile on the platform, he would start going out with her again.
